1st March 2021:

Both parts of our research seminar on the extraordinary findings of the Windy Harbour road scheme in Lancashire are now available to view on our YouTube channel.

Part one of the research seminar includes an introduction to the project, a site tour, an overview of the finds and initial thoughts from our panel. Part two is a live Q&A session with our panel of distinguished experts, which was recorded on Saturday 27th February 2021. Researchers, students and enthusiasts were invited to contribute their ideas and questions to our future research.

Both parts of the research seminar can be accessed via our dedicated Windy Harbour Research Seminar page, and the videos are hosted on the Oxford Archaeology YouTube channel.

Thank you to Chris Gosden for chairing the session and to all our panellists for such a lively and enlightening discussion: Fraser Brown, Chantal Conneller, Antony Dickson, Denise Druce, Helen Evans, Rick Peterson, Alison Sheridan and Alasdair Whittle.
