GIS Services

Our focus on innovation in digital technologies allows us to deliver speed and accuracy

Using digital techniques in the process of creating the archaeological record and for analysis is an integral part of all projects that we undertake, from field excavations to environmental impact assessments and management plans.

With a highly trained and experienced staff, our Geomatics Department gives unparalleled service in data collection and the creation of GIS for the purpose of heritage management, predictive modelling, and research-oriented goals. This gives us considerable advantages in delivering a reliable service and products to our clients that include:

  • Metric Survey,
  • Creation of GIS and spatial decision support,
  • Historic character assessment,
  • Advice on systems and data integration

We can handle data from most systems currently available, and can work with legacy data or can provide data for bespoke systems if necessary. We are actively developing web-based GIS based on OGC standards. We use the latest field techniques for data capture, including differential RTK GPS, 3D laser scanning and Total Station Theodolite (TST).
